Fresh Meat Comedy
Each first Monday of the month, Rock Café welcomes Fresh Meat Comedy for an open mic session. Typically 8 comedians take the stage and the MC introduces all of them. Some are experienced, some are brand new, but it always makes for a fun night! Running year round apart from the summer months!

XX Years Rock Café
As good wine, Rock Café gets better with age! We celebrate this once a year in early May and this always brings a bunch of regulars back to their favourite watering hole. Next may, Rock Café celebrates 25 years, so we promise to make this an even more special celebration!

Het Groot Verlof
Each year the city of Leuven, along with local bars, pubs and restaurants organises het Groot Verlof. Many concerts take place at the Old Market where you can have front row seats at Rock Café! We double up and open up both the bar outside and inside, so you won’t run too thirsty!

Early July to mid-August
Hapje-Tapje
This one is part of at Het Groot Verlof, but we like to give it a special mention here. The pubs at the Old Market compete for the best beer menu in Old Market. Let’s be honest about it, Rock Café has the best list each year, so make sure to join us at the outside bar for the finest beers selected by our Beer Sommeliers!
Next to that there’s the famous bartender race and live shows, and of course the food market for the hungry!

Kerstvis
Ho, ho, ho, it’s that time of the year again. Some of us feel more like celebrating Kerstvis at Rock Café instead of a boring family party. Or some join us to digest the family party! Whatever your reason, we celebrate the birth of Kerstvis with all the glory the holy child deserves!
